《Unit9 What do you want to do?》

教学目标:

1. 能用所学词语和句子谈论主题公园。

2. 能听懂并会用句型What’s your favourite theme park? I like water theme park.进行问答对话。

3. 让学生亲近自然与社会,激发学生热爱生活、积极向上的情感。

教学重点:

1. 句型“What’s your favourite theme park? I like water theme park.”的问答与练习。

2. 词汇:special cartoon for example country culture group part的认读与理解。

教学难点:

 运用所学词语和句子谈论、设计、描述主题公园。

教学用具:PPT

教学过程:

Step1 Lead-in

(P1)T: Hello,everyone! Today we’ll begin to learn Unit9 Section B. Before we learn this part, let’s look at some pictures about the theme park.

(P2) Look at the screen. They are the pictures about Disney theme park. All the children like this park. Because they can play, eat and do many things they like in this park.

(P3) They are the pictures about science theme park. We can learn science knowledge in this park.

(P4) The water theme park. There are many kinds of fishes in this kind of park.

(P5) The plant theme park. We have so many plants and flowers.

Step2 Listen, read and tick

T: Yes. We’ll talk about the theme parks today.

(1)出示第6张幻灯片,T: Let’s look at the Part5 Theme parks. First, let’s listen to this part and try to know what this text is about.

(2)播放音频,请学生一边听音频,一边理解短文内容。

(3)讲解新单词并领读。

    T: We have new words today. Let’s look at the words and learn them.

   (出示第7张幻灯片)师领读单词,学生跟读。

(4)T: After we learn the new words, let’s look at this text again. At this time, understand this part.

再次出示第6张幻灯片,领读这部分内容,并带领学生理解这部分内容。

(5)出示第8张幻灯片,出示问题,学生进行回答。

    Q1: What are theme parks?

    Q2: What’s a good theme park?

(6) 出示第9张幻灯片,出示句子,让学生判断T 或 F。

 a. Theme parks are always about cartoons.

 b. There is a big theme park about the world in Changsha.

 c. There are many different theme parks in China.

Step3 Pair work

出示第10张幻灯片。

T: Now we have a pair work. Let’s talk about theme parks. We can use the sentences: What’s your favourite theme park? I like……

Work with your deskmate and talk about this question.

学生两人一组仿照句型“What’s your favourite theme park? I like water theme parks. I like to learn about fishes and animals.”双方轮流就主题公园进行问答对话练习。练习后,请学生展示。

Step4 Talk, draw and tell

T: Do you want to make your own theme park? Can you make a plan for the theme park? Let’s use the questions in the form to make our own theme park.

(1)出示第11张幻灯片,运用表格中句子让学生理解计划设计一个主题公园需要注意什么?

(2)T: Make a poster like this one.(出示第12张幻灯片)

(3)向学生做示范如何介绍一个主题公园。(出示第13张幻灯片)

     This is our park. The theme is about animals and plants. Kids can see sunflowers and elephants. They can play with elephants, take photos with sunflowers. They can learn the knowledge about animals and plants.

(4)T: Now four students a group to make your own theme park. We have 5 minutes. Let’s begin.

学生四人一组,参考表格中的问题,制定一个建造主题公园的计划;仿照句型b的形式,画出主题公园图片;每组选派一名代表,仿照c的句型,在全班同学面前进行表述。

Step5 Listen and chant

T: Let’s relax ourselves.

出示第14张幻灯片。

(1)     师读,做示范。

(2)     播放音频,学生跟读。

(3)     T: Can you read this part? I believe you can read it well after practice.生读韵诗。

Step6 Homework

    搜集自己感兴趣的主题公园资料,形成文字,介绍给你的爸爸妈妈或同学。
